Concept
An exploration of permanence and impermanence, inspired by weathered landscapes, ancient pathways, and the quiet traces left by nature. Collected by hand from the Northumbrian landscape, each bone bears evidence of its journey through sun, wind, rain, and time. Transformed into a contemporary object of adornment, the material reflects a deep respect for the discarded and overlooked, revealing beauty and value in what is no longer considered useful.
Process
Naturally found sheep bone is carefully gathered, cleaned, and preserved before being cut, carved, and combined by hand with precious metal elements. Independently designed, bench-made, and hand-finished, each piece honours the unique character of its materials, ensuring every creation remains entirely individual.
Textures
Organic forms and tactile surfaces define the collection. Smooth, weather-softened bone and exposed trabecular structures contrast with oxidised silver, subtle tool marks, and softly burnished finishes, creating a dialogue between raw and refined.
